Save Our Star!

So many of you know that YAC, YRUU and Dover Yoga have combined efforts to fundraise for Star Island in their time of needs. We are organizing concerts all over New England over the next six months to help benefit the island. We are kicking it all off with a benefit show at the Barley Pub on July 28 at 9pm. The Band the Dejas will be donating a % of their proceeds from door fees to Star Island. We are also in the works of organizing a Bluegrass Concert, a Yoga-a-thon and a NYC Concert all to benefit Star. In addition to our currently scheduled plans we are searching for bands/musicians/theatrical shows that are willing to donate a portion of the proceeds from one of their currently scheduled gigs to the island. In exchange for the donation not only will they be helping a worthy cause, but we will also advertise the show on the save our star website www.saveourstar.org, the Star Island website www.starisland.org, and if you are in the Seacoast area we will do our best to get your show listed in our local papers (the wire, portsmouth herald, fosters).  No show is too small… we will take all donations we can get!
